✏️Fonological awareness – Minimal pairs✏️
How to play ?:
1️⃣ It can be done in pairs orally or individually in written form
2️⃣ Students take the «minimum pair» board and the template to write
3️⃣ Look at the drawing of the first pair of words
4️⃣ Write the words in the template or notebook and underline the letters that have
changed or dialogue about what the change is
5️⃣ Repeat the process

This activity:
1️⃣ Motivates the student by writing simple words, which get complicated as he goes.
2️⃣ Provides the children with independence since it is an activity that they can do completely autonomously.
3️⃣ What about if someone copies? Of course they will try … but the guards should be paying attention in case they do cheat. After all, the question is to practice reading and phonological awareness.
4️⃣ Includes a more complex level (in another doc) where you have more complex phonemes. Perfect for more advanced students or as a challenge.
